Welcome to our curriculum pages. Here you will find our curriculum plans and aims for each subject. You will be able to see the content that children cover in year group and how it builds sequentially over time to develop their knowledge and understanding of subjects. We use learning organisers to summarise the key vocabulary, knowledge and steps within each unit of work and topic area for each subject. We also use schema to support children to retain knowledge and develop their understanding of the links between different parts of their learning.  

As a school we aim to deliver a broad and balanced curriculum for all our children which is relevant, inspiring and engaging and equips them the skills, attitudes, knowledge and understanding to succeed and flourish in the next stages of their education and lives. At the heart of our curriculum is the power of vocabulary, oracy and reading as key tools for success and a passionate belief in the transformative power of education. Our curriculum has been carefully planned and integrated to ensure that it builds sequentially on prior learning and equips the children with strong foundations of knowledge, skills and understanding.  

We want our curriculum to be experiential and to open eyes and doors to our pupils so that they see and experience what is beyond their every day and have the skills, confidence and ambition to grab the many and varied opportunities that come their way.
