Welcome to Elm class. They consolidate their learning from previous years and learn new skills through a variety of stimulating topics and texts. There are many fantastic opportunities for Elm class through the year so keep checking back for updates
This term the children will be preparing to take their SATS assessments in Reading and Maths as well as completing writing pieces for their final assessments. The children have an opportunity to review their learning from Upper Key Stage Two as well as having bespoke and individualised support to ensure they are well prepared for secondary school.
Our Year 6 children hold a very special position in our school. The final primary school year builds on the learning of skills, knowledge and concepts through the children’s time in our school, seeking to prepare them for secondary life and beyond.
