As a school we aim to deliver a broad and balanced curriculum for all our children which is relevant, inspiring and engaging and equips them the skills, attitudes, knowledge and understanding to succeed and flourish in the next stages of their education and lives. At the heart of our curriculum is the power of vocabulary, oracy and reading as key tools for success and a passionate belief in the transformative power of education. Our curriculum has been carefully planned and integrated to maximise the breadth of the curriculum. It is also progressive so that children build on existing skills, knowledge and understanding as they move up through the school.

We want our curriculum to be experiential and to open eyes and doors to our pupils so that they see and experience what is beyond their every day and have the skills, confidence and ambition to grab the many and varied opportunities that come their way.
